The majority of the Wolczanski group's research uses compounds with one or more coordinating silox ligands (tBu3SiO). This has allowed synthesis of low coordinate early transition metal complexes. In addition, tBu3SiNH and tBu3SiS have been used to create metal complexes that do some really incredible chemistry. To read more about some of the compounds the group has synthesized with silox, please refer to the following paper.
