The majority of the Wolczanski group's research uses compounds with one or more coordinating silox ligands (^tBu₃SiO). This has allowed synthesis of low coordinate early transition metal complexes. In addition, ^tBu₃SiNH and ^tBu₃SiS have been used to create metal complexes that do some really incredible chemistry.
