	Utilities and environmental controls in Baker and Olin Laboratories are sophisticated. Problems with air conditioning, heating, water, exhaust systems, lights, and electrical power should be referred to Building Services. Any proposed construction (attaching apparatus to a wall, etc.) should also be referred to Building Services for estimates and arrangements with Cornell’s Planning, Design, and Construction, which is responsible for construction and repairs. Do not attempt to do any plumbing in the laboratories, no matter how simple it may seem. Some of the plumbing is old and brittle, and tampering with it may cause unexpected floods.
